The HSU have continued discussion with SA Health on a number of key matters following on from the enterprise agreement negotiations.

Whilst some progress has been made there is still a way to go before we are in a position to declare this dispute over.

The HSU continues to negotiate on:

  • Classification structure including integrated pathways

The HSU is seeking assurances that should the proposed Feasibility Study demonstrate that an integrated Allied Health and Medical Scientist (Practitioners and Professionals) career pathway is a suitable option, appropriate mechanisms are put in place in order to implement the study’s findings.

  • Oncall/Recall
  • 8 hour break
  • 30 minute recall

Although SA Health appear to have some understanding of members’ concerns there is some work to do before we have an acceptable outcome.

  • Perfusionists issues (claims)

A response is expected shortly about the time frames and processes for addressing the perfussionists needs and aspirations.
