WORKPLACE RIGHTS – For all Workers
- The Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) has developed a dedicated page for information about your rights at work. This includes information about leave as well as safety at work during the pandemic. Check the ACTU regularly for updates:
- The HSU is also supporting the call for 14-days special paid leave for all workers that can be used if and when workers are required to self-isolate. You can sign the petition calling on the Government to act here:

Union members stick together- even if we can’t stand together. We know this is a stressful time, and HSU members are on the frontline of the COVID-19 response. To stay connected social media is becoming even more important! We urge members to treat social media posts that have not been issued by official sources with a high degree of caution.
